How to Select the Right Hot Water Pressure Washers

Low-Flow Steam Power Washer
Hot water pressure washers are versatile machines because they support heated as well as non-heated cleaning. Daimer®’s hot water pressure washers, particularly tri-mode machines, support three temperature settings: cold water, hot water, and steam. These machines offer temperature levels ranging from room temperature to as much as 330°F. Here are some tips for selecting the best hot pressure washers.

1.Power method: Daimer® offers hot water pressure washers with electric, gasoline, diesel, and propane engines. They also supply pressure washers that use jet fuel, aimed at the aviation industry. Electric pressure washers emit no exhaust and are virtually noise free. They may be used indoors as well as outdoors. However, they cannot be used in absence of electricity. Therefore, mobile car wash businesses, construction companies, and public works contractors often rely on non-electric machines for cleaning construction sites, roads, walkways, cars, boats, and buildings under-construction and similar structures.

2.Temperature: Daimer®’s machines can reach temperatures as high as 330°F. However, it is important that the surface you are cleaning can withstand the temperature levels as well as pressure levels.

3.Flow rates: Machines with the usual flow rates of 2-5 GPM are ideal for industrial cleaning. Nevertheless, businesses that face restrictions on water consumption may purchase powerful low flow machines such as the Super Max™ 6120LM, which has a flow rate of only 0.5 GPM

4.Pressure level: Conventional wisdom says the higher the pressure level, the more powerful the machine. While this is true to some extent, very high pressure levels may damage surfaces such as car exteriors, which cannot withstand pressure levels higher than 1500 psi.
